Responding to ‘Mindfulness: Developing Agency in Urgent Times’ – A compilation of essays

This publication from the Mindfulness Initiative is a compilation of essays submitted by researchers, innovators, and thinkers in response to the ideas outlined in the Initiative’s 2020 discussion paper Mindfulness: Developing Agency in Urgent Times. These responses were written and collected to continue the important and timely discussions developed and inspired by the original paper.

Responding to ‘Mindfulness: Developing Agency in Urgent Times’ contains 11 essays, each of which looks at different topics related to MI’s publication, such as how mindfulness training might need to evolve to more effectively meet societal challenges, how mindfulness might be vital in improving our relationship with technology, and how the mindfulness sector should focus on community and decolonisation to unlock its transformative potential.
