Mindful Workplace Community – World Café Networking Event

Following feedback from members on the value of networking, we will be trialling community-building and discussion events specifically designed for networking and dialogue. We aim to make these events an additional regular feature in our calendar.

These ‘World Cafés’ will be an exciting opportunity to connect with other Community members informally to discuss subjects of mutual interest in both smaller and larger groups and share open and mindful enquiry.

Format outline

Events will last 1 ½ hours. There will not be a panel, but the event will be facilitated. Each World Café will have a range of suggested discussion topics based on suggestions from the Community. Topic suggestions will be regularly invited from members.

Timeline

Introduction 5.00 – 5.20 pm
Breakout room topic for discussion 5.20 pm – 5.50 pm
Feedback 5.50 pm – 6.30 pm

Allocation to members for Session 1 will be randomised to maximise networking opportunities.

A document setting out the discussion topics for the World Café will be shared with members a few days before the event. Members will be able to choose which discussion topic they wish to explore (breakout rooms in Session 2) in advance using this document.

We hope you will join us for a lively and stimulating debate.

Strictly open to members only.
