Cultivating Performance and Wellbeing in the Workplace with the Moment Company’

The Moment Company co-founders Fiona McKinnon and Alex Strang will speak to the MWC on Cultivating Performance and Wellbeing in the Workplace.

The Moment Co focus’ on individual performance and wellbeing to create stability, empower individuals & teams and drive growth.

Alex and Fiona will discuss how to redefine the way you approach well-being in the business world (for small and large companies) in an interview-style workshop.

The following topics will be discussed:

1 – Wellbeing Is Not a Perk: Discover practical strategies to shift your company culture towards one that embraces both wellbeing and performance. Learn how to speak business to businesses and connect wellbeing to the bottom line.

2 – Wellbeing Washing – The Dark Side: Exploring the pitfalls of unrealistic wellbeing expectations. We’ll discuss the dangers of promoting perfection and constant happiness. And who is responsible – the employee, the business?

3 – Where Does Mindfulness Fit?: Uncover the power of small but consistent daily mindful changes and how they lead to long term sustainable shifts. We’ll talk about how to incorporate mindfulness without getting caught up in the ‘woowoo’ jargon.

4 – Q&A. To close, we will discuss how we can come together as a community to create a positive impact – solopreneurs, SMBs and corporates. Please come prepared with a question about the area that interests you most.

This event is free to MWC annual paying members. Non-paying followers, non-paying members and guest are welcome to attend at a cost of £15.00 or a donation.
