Mindful Workplace Community World Café – Networking Event

Following feedback from members on the value of networking we will be trialing community building and discussion events  specifically designed for networking and dialogue. Our aim is to make these events an additional regular feature in our calendar.

These “World Café’s” will be an exciting opportunity to connect with other Community members informally, to discuss subjects of mutual interest in smaller groups and share open and mindful enquiry, in a larger group as well.

Format outline

Events will last 1 ½ hours, there will not be a panel however the event will be facilitated. Each world café will have a range of suggested discussion topics based on suggestions from the Community.

Timeline

5.00 – 5.10 pm Welcome and “Main Hall” introductions

5.10 – 5.30 pm Session 1: Small Group 1 check-ins – opportunity for people to see how each other are doing and say hello

5.30 – 6.00 pm Session 2: Small Group 2 discussion topics – there will be a number of break out rooms from which members will be able to choose, based on which discussion topics they are most interested in

6.00 – 6.30 pm Feedback and shared discussion: Main Hall

Allocation to members for session 1 will be randomised to maximise networking opportunities.

A document setting out the discussion topics for the World Café will be shared with members a few days before the event. Members will be able to choose which discussion topic they wish to explore (Breakout rooms in session 2) in advance using this document.

We hope you will join us for lively and stimulating debate.

Strictly open to members only.
