A year of morning mindfulness with Awaris

Mindful Workplace Community corporate partner Awaris is inviting us to begin 2021 by taking part in their daily morning meditation drop-in sessions. The sessions will run from 8:00 am to 8:30 am every weekday, and there’ll also be a check-in at 5:30 pm on Fridays and hour-long yoga classes on Sundays at 10:00 am.

Find out more and see the full invitation from Awaris below.

Dear friends and colleagues,

A warm invitation to you for a year of wellbeing supported by mindfulness. My colleagues and I have been considering how we can support people during these very tumultuous times. For us, our daily mindfulness practice has been our ground and source of balance, calm, and perspective within the chaos and uncertainty of 2020 – and now 2021.

So here’s the invitation, and if you like one – a CHALLENGE – make a good start to 2021 with morning mindfulness and weekend yoga through the end of the month, see how it goes, and if you like to- join the next month too, and then the next – we’re here to practice with you all year.

Last year was tough for all of us. This year is starting much the same, but let’s find ways to make lemonade from these bountiful lemons! As working from home and general disruption of usual routines seems to be on the cards for most of us, let’s use this moment to develop a new normal in a positive way that brings us fresh balance, grounding, clarity, nourishment, health, and meaning. If you’ve struggled to establish a daily practice, or want to deepen – now is your moment! We are here to support your practice through the ups and downs of the entire year – one constant within the uncertainty.

Join our DAILY meditation practice to strengthen your resilience and find clarity: deepening mindfulness and awareness during the COVID period with a group of friendly faces every morning.

When: 8.00 – 8.30 a.m. (GMT) from January 12th– January 30th 2021, plus a check-in on Fridays at 5.30 p.m.
