Mindfulness in a Legal Workplace

Ruth Ormston of the MILG and deputy director of the Mindfulness Initiative will be interviewing Andrew McNeill whose career started in law and who is now the one of the Directors of the MWC. Ruth will be quizzing him about this journey, the themes behind his book ‘Organisational Mindfulness – a how to guide’,how he has applied mindfulness in his leadership career and how it could be applied in law. Andrew will also talk about the journey of the MWC so far, including some of the challenges of starting up in a pandemic, and the crucial role that community can play in supporting individual and organisational mindfulness.

This informal event will include a short practice for those who would like to experience guided mindfulness  – either for the first time, or just at the end of a long day.

There will also be a chance to ask questions, share experiences, and above all learn more about how mindfulness can be brought into your workplace.

This event is free to attend and open to all who work in law and have an interest in how mindfulness can benefit the workplace.

We very much look forward to seeing you there.
